The New Google Checkout System with Screenshot
I just signed up for the new google checkout program at http://checkout.google.com
Quick thoughts so far…
It took maybe 10 minutes to sign up and it auto linked my adwords account to it. the system also allows you to set an url, that anytime your adword ad is displayed a small icon will appear next to the ad. the processor api page was not available yet, nor was the google group, so im not sure yet of how easy or hard it will be to code it in to existing shops. the buy now button system works, and seems alot simplier to use than paypals. You also get a discount based on your adwords spend towards processing fees as well. You do have to verify your bank account, so it may take some time before they make the test deposit and i can start using the system more.
